I'm collecting and gathering all the glass jars I can find laying around the house for this DIY. For this project, I will be making some super cute texturized stoneware vases using a mixture of paint and baking powder. I'm using some recycled Bath & Body Works candle jars, up-cycled jars from a previous DIY, and whatever else I could find. This technique has been trending for a while, but I'm adding my spin to it with adding additional textures to the glass jars. These vases look high end and can add a lot of style to any space just by using what you already have. Keep scrolling to see how I made an easy update to some old jars!

What I Used:
Glass Jars
Acrylic Paint
Baking Powder
Marbles
Bamboo Skewers
Paint Brush
Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Directions:
Mix one part baking powder and one part acrylic paint in a bowl.
Grab a glass jar and a paint brush to brush the mixture on the jar. (I started with a jar that I previously adhered bamboo skewers. You can see that process in a video here).
Add several coats of the paint mixture to the jar after each coat dries.
Clean out, remove the label and remaining wax from a Bath & Body Works candle jar.
Add marbles to the jar using hot glue and space out the marbles on the jar.
Brush on several coats of the acrylic paint and baking powder mixture.
Then, follow this above process for any other jars that you want to transform
